Getting Help Starts Here

Because cost should never be the reason someone struggles to heal.

Who can apply for funding?

We serve individuals and families in Lenawee County, Michigan and surrounding rural communities. We built this program for people who have been priced out of mental health care, turned away, or never had access to begin with.

You may be a good fit if you are uninsured or underinsured, unable to afford therapy out of pocket, experiencing financial hardship, or have struggled to access mental health care for any reason.

Here's the honest truth: if you are reading this page and wondering whether you qualify, that probably means you should apply. We would rather review an application from someone who isn't sure than have someone who needs care decide not to reach out.

Everyone Deserves Care

Choose the form that fits your situation. If you are applying on behalf of a minor, a parent or legal guardian must complete the application.

How it Works

From Application to Support

Here's what to expect when you apply for financial assistance.

01

Apply for Assistance

Choose the form that fits your situation — one for adults and families, one for minors. There is no cost to apply.

02

We Review Your Application

A real person on our team reviews every application individually. We aim to respond as quickly as possible.

03

We Reach Out

If you qualify, we contact you directly to let you know next steps. If we need more information, we will reach out to ask.

04

You Connect with Care

Approved applicants are referred to the provider that best fits their needs. For most therapy services, that means The Healing Project, our partner clinic in Adrian. For specialized care, we work with you to find the right provider.
